Hey, you’re the only one who liked it, I think. I liked it too. We’re weird… Thanks, Sync! 🙂 I had a naked dancer background, but I thought it might be a bit much for me image…. Granny and all, you know… Chuckle… The dance is really a fan palm leaf, but it looks for all the world like a naked lady. I’ll put it up one day and let you know… We can like her together! 😉
I’m sorry I can’t follow all of your posts due to my illness and the meds I’m on, but I just want you to know that I’m still alive, kicking and thinking of you. 🙂
Lorna! I didn’t realize that you are ill. Hey, I understand. You are always so kind to me. For goodness sake, don’t even think about needing to follow my posts (or anybody else’s for that matter.) Get well. I’ll be checking on you. I don’t get around as I should, but I don’t forget YOU. 🙂 🙂
I think I have to add a new itinerary to my wish list. Wouldn’t it be a blast to visit all the locations around the world where our blogging buddies live?
C’mon down under, we’re expecting mid 40’s again next week, celcius that is, so you’d better leave your winter woollies behind. Your naked ladies look nothing like the plant I know as ‘naked ladies’ or Easter lillies, or Amaryllis belladonna.
Hi, Jackie! It’s forty degrees here tonight. That’s Fahrenheit. It’s up from thirty-one this morning. I’ve got on so many layers that I’d roll if I fell down! The naked dancers are the ends of a palm frond. They all look like dancers with long legs. These turned white from the freeze. I’m coming your way as soon as the magic carpet gets back on schedule after the ice storms! 🙂 Thanks!
I have a plan to pick up you (and you paint pots) on the return trip. To paint the naked dancer leaf on the walls of my whole house! 🙂 🙂 I’ll have tropical, the Polar Vortex be damned!
i am so sorry that the vortex has desecrated your gardens.. we’ll be sure to have some exotic replacements bundled and ready to help restart when the weather’s warmer! am sending jasmine, gardenia and angel’s trumpet hoy/now for instant reversal of weather-related stress! i’ll be gathering painting supplies for the return trip!!!
Hey, I’ve donned my ski jacket and layers of polar underwear. The only danger for me in Little Cottonwood Canyon is falling over and rolling downhill in all of this garb! We got a date in Little Cottonwood. (That’s where my spirit self is headed one day, you know!)
Hi, Celestine! I should head on out to your place where it’s warm! Immediately. We are getting an unusual freeze from the Polar Vortex that’s swooped down into South Texas. I’m afraid it is taking my tropical garden with it! See you soon! 🙂
Hi, Elisa! The Polar Vortex strangled my garden and is on her way BACK tonight to finish the job. I’m outta’ here to visit warmer scenes on the blogs that I have neglected. Did you like the naked lady dancer? She was lovely in her frozen death! Sigh…
Ha-ha! No, what I was trying to ask your professional opinion on is she too much for my background image? Chuckle… Don’t be nice, now! 🙂
It’s going to freeze bad in Atlanta tonight. Here too, but hopefully no ice. Although, the ice cover on the palms actually protected them during this last murderous rampage of that cursed Polar Vortex witch! Thanks, Elisa.
Oh my! Funny, I didn’t see the background image when I originally read your post. I must have been on my iPad. NOW I UNDERSTAND. I like it…very artsy. That is a plant?? It has little private parts!!! And yes….there will be hell to pay if this weather doesn’t calm down. ENOUGH ALREADY!! Our pool pipes froze and broke and made a huge mess, and now poor pool is struggling to fill up again with water. I swear the water is going to freeze coming right out the hose. I still think it’s funny. After we had our pool put in I had no idea that to fill it you just used your garden hose…took two days. Now I’m refilling it so we can use it as an ice skating rink! Enjoy your warm weather blog travels, George. Adios!
Yes, it’s a tip on a fan palm leaf. The ends of the parts of the leaves split and look like dancers when the wind blows them around. I always think the “private parts” are too funny! 🙂 Thanks, Elisa!
I think you’ll be able to skate on that pool surface by tomorrow! 🙂 At least, the Polar Witch is good for something! 🙂
I’m sure it did… but just one thing.. nature has a way of standing back up and shaking itself off… and returning in all its beauty… but your welcome here by us… just damn hot at the mo…
I like this image very much, George.

Yes, the naked lady handled her demise with dignity and beauty. You brought out the best in her and preserved her at her best. Forever. 😉
