Rita and I invite you to visit
A blog where I dump photographs that don’t fit into my home here.
Rita has an opinion about The Fuzzy Foto
But … she is a kept parrot. To her everlasting dismay, hers is not the majority opinion. She has condescended, however, to make an occasional appearance.
Thank you
George and Rita
🙂
I’m a firm advocate that there is a place for “snap shots” on blogs (that includes 99.9% of my photos too LOL) I never think of myself as a professional photographer and my blog like yours, is literally a snap-shot of our lives with the aim to share and make people happy.
Rita is either imitating a cat (I’ll-show-my-face-when-and-where- *I*-want-to) or has imaginings of herself as a film star… face it George, you are the Paparazzi and treated as such 🙂

I love your blog, have decided to follow it, and am going to recommend it to my Mum, too. She is just starting out as an octegenarian (?) blogger. Love your photos, your parrot, your humour (both of you) and the dark look of your blog. 🙂

Your mom is in her eighties? Fantastic. I wish her well. What is the title of her blog?
I’m glad you like my little stories and the zoo around here. I will investigate your blog when I get my act together…
Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to chat! 🙂

Hi George – no problem. I am utterly in awe of your photos. Do you edit them in Photoshop / Lightroom? What’s the secret? Why do they look so sumptuous and sensual – the plant ones, in particular??? Do you live in Eden (it appears so)?
My Mum’s URL is http://mavisstilling33.wordpress.com (I don’t know how to turn that into a link) and it’s called ‘A Patchwork Quilt’. I have only just taught her how to add tags to her posts so she could do with a few visitors. 🙂

The early photographs (The Stripper) were only edited in Picassa or Snapseed for added color saturation and basic noise removal, etc. Yes, I use Photoshop now, but I use the Nik and Topaz plug-ins with Photoshop heavily. I like them for clarity, color, and noise removal. I particularly like the Topaz filter that removes UV haze for clearer images. I am no very good at graphics manipulation so what I do is fairly basic. Thank you very much, Lorna. 🙂

Well thank you for sharing that, George. I use Photoshop & Lightroom, but for my blog I am enjoying taking ‘snaps’. I used to do photography for a living, and now that I’m not, I’m rather enjoying taking bad snapshots. It feels very liberating! Meanwhile I do regard yours with a certain amount of envy… 🙂

Well, a good photograph need little editing. My photos are snapshots too. I snap what I see. I think different folks see things from different perspectives. I also like deep color and shadow. 😉 Sometimes, I am slightly aghast at the photos that I post! Thanks, Lorna.

I felt right at home when I saw the signature vultures again! I’m still smiling about them. I am the quintessential hermit, you know. If it lives within ten miles of my house, I find it. Otherwise, I consider it to belong to the world at large. I”m happy to have found your blog again! Thanks for the visit! Be seeing you soon! George

Excellent composition. I am trying to catch up on comments & visits as well. Nothing lose one’s head over, but you know how I worry that I offended someone. 😀

Hello! I could not get into your post “If I were a painter, I would paint a blossom” other than what I got via e-mail. But I did stumble on your Fuzzy Foto which you had mentioned somewhere. I stumble around quite a bit on WordPress but I do eventually learn! lol And I am glad I did as I like your rejects and I’ll be back if I can find my way. Rita expresses herself well! Have a great day!
